2008 Northern Pikeminnow Sport Reward Program

*The common name of the northern squawfish has been changed to northern pikeminnow by the American Fisheries Society.

The 2008 season for the fishery will start May 5, 2008 for all stations. The season will end September 28, 2008.

The Northern Pikeminnow Sport-Reward Program has been extended an additional two weeks (September 29th through October 15th, 2008). Click here for a list of the stations which will be open during this extension (and their operating hours).

The Northern Pikeminnow Sport-Reward Program will have weekly voucher drawings through the month of September. Click here for more information (and the Special September Pikeminnow Drawing Rules).

The 2008 Sport reward payment schedule is as follows:

0-100 fish: $4 per fish
101-400 fish: $5 per fish
401 and above: $8 per fish

TAGGED FISH rewards are $500 per tagged fish.

Minimum Size is 9 inches.
